Margarita “Maggie” Esquivel worked with clients in the financial realm for seven years before pivoting her focus to family law. Maggie first in her family to graduate high school and attend college earning both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business Administration. She is also the first and only in her family to graduate from law school. For decades, since they immigrated from Mexico, Maggie’s parents have labored the fields of Eastern Washington, where Maggie grew up, to provide for their children. From a very young age, Maggie learned about work ethic and scarifies including working in harsh work conditions herself.
In law school Maggie became passionate about family law when working with underprivileged populations and learning about the inequities in the justice system. Maggie hopes to be an asset to Gravis’ family law department and contribute to her community in a deeper sense as a practicing attorney.
